Exploring the World Through Work, Research & Sports

From the Andes of Peru to the grasslands of Tanzania, from European lacrosse championships to the peatlands of Norway—my work and interests have taken me to different parts of the world. This map shows the places where I’ve gained experience in remote sensing, agriculture, hydrology, and sports.

About These Experiences

This map shows the places that have shaped my work in remote sensing and geospatial analysis.

Education (🎓) — I studied in Peru, Morocco, Norway, and Tanzania. This is where I learned about hydrology, soil, vegetation, and how to use satellite imagery to understand land and water.

Professional Work (💼) — I’ve worked on-the-ground in Mozambique, Tanzania, and Chile, and led projects across sub-Saharan Africa using satellites and maps to help with water resources and agriculture.

Remote Sensing Coverage (🛰️) — Countries where I’ve conducted satellite-based analysis and mapping remotely: Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Ethiopia, Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa, and more. Real-world problems solved from space.

Sports (🥍) — Playing box lacrosse for Team Netherlands has taken me to world and European championships in Canada, Germany, USA, and Czech Republic.

All these experiences—studying, working, and competing—feed into what I do now: using satellite data to understand and solve problems with agriculture, water, and the environment.
