Exploring the World Through Work, Research & Sports

From the Andes of Peru to the grasslands of Tanzania, from European lacrosse championships to the peatlands of Norway—my work and interests have taken me to different parts of the world. This map shows the places where I’ve gained experience in remote sensing, agriculture, hydrology, and sports.

Each location is part of my story. Hover over the markers to read about what I did there.

About These Experiences

This map shows the places that have shaped my work in remote sensing and geospatial analysis.

Education & Research (🎓) — I studied in Peru, Morocco, Norway, and Tanzania. This is where I learned about hydrology, soil, vegetation, and how to use satellite imagery to understand land and water.

Professional Work (💼) — I’ve worked across sub-Saharan Africa using satellites and maps to help with water resources and agriculture. Real-world problems that need practical solutions.

Sports (🥍) — Playing box lacrosse for the Netherlands has taken me to competitions in Canada, Germany, and beyond. It connects me with different cultures and people.

All these experiences—studying, working, and competing—feed into what I do now: using satellite data to understand and solve problems with agriculture, water, and the environment.
